Out goes the yellow orb

When I started working on this musical project a few years ago, I had no clue I would eventually see the end of it. I tend to not finish stuff, but that’s another story.

Anyhow, I’m basically done now. I found a nice little yellow orb drawn in 1904 by Ernst Haeckel. His beautiful drawings are now part of the public domain. I thought it would do a great album cover and had CDs printed for family and friends.

I chose DistroKid to take care of the digital distribution of the Meadows album. I uploaded all my music and cover art and then started to freak out…

Maybe online music stores are stiff about cover art? I asked DistroKid and they confirmed this morning it had to be a 100% original. I should have known better.

So I just finished a new album cover. Sent it to DistroKid and the change was made very quickly. Their customer service is great.

And I prefer the new album cover. I used a beautiful photo taken a few days ago by my daughter Madeleine. 🙂
